Who we are

viaEur organises road freight between the Balkans (Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia) and Europe. This site (dispatch.viaeur.com) is used to receive freight quote requests. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the site and how we handle it.

What data we collect

When you fill in the "Request a quote" form, we collect:

• The origin and destination country
• A description of the cargo and, if you give it, weight and dimensions
• Your preferred shipping date
• Your name and, if applicable, your company name
• Your phone / WhatsApp number
• Any additional notes you write in "Anything else"

What we do NOT collect

We do not ask for an email address on the request form — we communicate by phone or WhatsApp. This site currently does not use tracking cookies or analytics tools (such as Google Analytics). If that changes, we will update this policy.

How we use your data

We use the data we collect only to contact carriers from our network and organise transport for your request, to come back to you with a price, and to communicate with you about the shipment. We do not use it for marketing without your consent and we do not sell it to third parties.

Who we share it with

Operational details needed to arrange transport (e.g. route, type and weight of goods, preferred date) may be passed to carriers from our network, only to the extent needed to organise the shipment. You remain in contact mainly with us — not necessarily directly with the carrier — except where direct coordination is needed (e.g. at loading or delivery time).

We store data in a password-protected database (Supabase), accessible only to the viaEur administrator. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for purposes other than those described here.

How long we keep it

We keep data for as long as needed to fulfil your request and, where applicable, for accounting purposes, after which we may delete or anonymise it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, but no system is 100% secure. If you suspect a security issue involving your data, contact us right away.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you by writing to the contact below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Our service is aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the way we work changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
